Nicky Hayden tests WSBK Ducati Panigale

Nicky Hayden was at the Mugello circuit today testing the 1199 Panigale which is currently competing in the world superbike championship (WSBK).

This could possibly mean Nicky would like a seat on the Ducati for the 2014 season, or perhaps that Ducati Corse want to use his vast experience to help get the Panigale's race pace up.

Either way if we wanted to disseminate the 'silly season' as it is called, I would need a keyboard made from granite because these plastic keys would catch fire.

There are a range of options for Nicky, but it would make sense for him to move to WSBK as his MotoGP career has surely got to be limited? Or am I wrong? I personally think Nicky would be a lot more competitive on the Panigale anyway.

Bottom line is Ducati need to pull their finger out their ass and start producing some race winning machinery. C'mon Audi serve those Italians some German work ethic for the sake of both WSBK and MotoGP. Imagine if we had a competitive Dovi on a Ducati mixing it up with lorenzo and Marquez? It would make my Sundays a lot less predictable.
