Why Superbike riders don't nod at GS riders and Scooters

You may have noticed fellow motorcyclists nodding at each other on the roads as they ride around. This is a friendly hello that symbolizes the camaraderie and spirit shared by motorcyclists.

However there is an exception to this rule. Namely, BMW GS riders and Scooters. It is proven in the below video where the CBR1000RR rider clearly nods to the scooter but receives nothing back.

Simultaneously, a BMW GS rider is seen blasting through the intersection proving the exception to the rule.

Watch the video and see what I mean. It seems motorcycle camaraderie only goes so far.

Perhaps they choose only to associate with other GS riders and scooters alike? Who knows.
