AlpineStars have released the crash data gathered from Marc Marquez's leathers. He crashed in the morning warm up at the Silverstone MotoGP dislocating his left shoulder in a 22.55G impact.
As you can see from the pictures, Marc's Repsol Honda came awfully close to Cal Crutchlow's Yamaha and the marshals trying to clear it out the way, as a result Marquez was handed two penalty points, rightfully so as there were waved yellow and oil flags which he claimed to have never seen.
Marquez is becoming a little to dependent on his airbags and some would say it is only a matter of time before he has a career limiting crash, or at least misses a few races from injury. Lets hope that is not the case.
