These additions are inclusive of names such as Brembo and Öhlins, and if you haven't been under a rock for the last few decades, you will know that those names are usually supplied to machines with one aim, and that is to make them quicker, here is the full spec sheet for the SP:
· 43mm Öhlins NIX30 inverted fork with spring preload, rebound, and compression damping
· Unit Pro-Link® Öhlins shock with spring preload, rebound, and compression damping
· Brembo front brakes with four-piston calipers and 320mm floating rotors
· Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC tires
· Lightweight subframe, which lowers CG
· A new cylinder head, intake tract, and exhaust system
· Special pistons and connecting rods
· New riding position with new handlebars and relocated footpegs
· A bubble windscreen
· Solo seat cowl
· Tri-color paint scheme
My Suggestion would be to wait for the new CBR unless you just have money to blow, and if you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you will probably know and love the Blade as we all do. I for one have owned two blades and have loved them with all my heart. The SP is definitely on my shopping list.
