2013 Kawasaki Z1000SX

The Z1000SX is Kawasaki's version of a sport tourer, a bike that you and perhaps your significant other can hop on and go explore the countryside.  For 2014 there is a variety of changes including color matching panniers, 3 way traction control and engine map selection.

As can be seen in the video, Kawasaki have included a remote shock preload adjuster. This enables the rider to change the set up during a coffee break whilst admiring the view.

The panniers are able to hold 28 litres each which equates to a helmet, very handy indeed, they have also tried to incorporate the panniers into the design of the bike more effectively so that they do not look so shwampy.

I have to also mention that the top rated comment on the video on YouTube was: '...and they're off to a threesome'. LOL.

Here in South Africa, many riders may opt for adventure bikes such as the BMW GS or Triumph Tiger explorer, as our roads are not nearly as smooth as the ones in the video, especially out in the countryside.
